Q: Expired Birth Control

Ive been on birth control for the past year, i started my MAY pack and i just noticed the expiration date that it says it expires March 2007!! Shocked I do have unprotected sex with my husband, can i get pregnant???? Question

Well it is only a couple months old so I wouldn't panic yet. I would use a back up form of birth control (condoms) and call your doc or head to your pharmacy and pick up a new pack of pills. I definately wouldn't continue to take them.

usually its good for up to 3 months past expire date.....but use a back up birth control method, and call your doctor and tell him what happened!
but i think you will be ok, they just become less effective! test if your unsure!

I started a new pack of birth control and i'm on like my second day, and i just relized that the pack i was using has epired. is it safe and what are the side effects?
