I have been removing all posts that have to do with selling or purchasing anything for the last week or so. I have recently been appointed to this position and am trying to keep everything inappropriate off of the forum.

If you have any further questions please address them via pm.

Thank you.

Fair enough but I wouldn't call my post inappropriate.

I have no health insurance and am currently unemployed through no fault of my own and therefore can't get the supplies I need unless I put myself into further debt. That is what is inappropriate. Our country and it's healthcare system... inappropriate.

Had I not seen the other posts where people are buying and selling supplies, I would not have posted at all.

Apologies.

I use the term inappropriate because it goes agianst the terms of the forum. It was not to be taken offensivly, and I appologise if it came across this way.

I agree that we have horrible problems with our healthcare systems.

My father in law is in a similar situation that you are in. He was injured at work and workmans comp is disputing liability. Meanwhile, he had no way of getting any heath insurance.

He has been going to the local heath department. They see him free of charge (due to his income, or lack there of) and any prescriptions that they write are on the walmart $4 list, so he gets everything fairly cheap. The health dept is what issues him his supplies for monitoring his blood sugar. You may want to call your local health department and see what they offer.
