Let me start off by saying I'm one of those people that gets paranoid easily about almost anything, and I become obsessed with it until I get my answers cleared. Also, let me mention this situation is a little embaressing to be sharing with total strangers, but I'm paranoid and anxious for some advice.

I do shave 'down there' and recently I noticed I had to trim it some before finishing, so I grabbed a pair of scissors (hands still a little wet from the water) and started snipping. Now afterwards when I was done I realized the sciccors had a little bit of rust on them and that's when the paranoia started to kick in. Is it possible I could of somehow gotten gangrene inside my private area? I didn't see nor feel any wounds/cuts of any sort. Can it only happen to areas that are wounded? Could it be possible it went inside? I used normal body wash soap to clean the area but..I don't know. I know this probably sounds silly to you all, and down right weird but I'm just like this.

Also, I apologize if I placed this in the wrong area.

I'm sure you're fine. Just make sure you use cleaner scissors and get a tetanus shot if you haven't had one in the past 10 years. If you are still concerned then see your dr.
