I just entered my 4 weeks and I dont have any morning sickness yet which is a good thing as far as I am concerned . Please share your experiences with me, caus I just read that if you don't have morning sickness your chances of m/s are larger and vise versa if you do have M/S your chances of M/C are much less!!!!!

You get morning sickness from your body producing the hormones necessary to sustain a pregnancy. Then, at about 12ish weeks the placenta takes over hormone production (which is normally when m/s subsides and your mc risk decreases) But ms isn't needed. Some people can handle the hormones better than others. Aside from that it is still fairly early for you to be experiencing ms. Normally, I believe, it begins at around 6ish weeks.

Everyone, feel free to jump in if any of this is wrong.

don't even think about this, you'll just make yourself paranoid if you happen to be one of the lucky ones who doesn't have it.

i had the worst morning sickness with my first pregnancy (i actually lost 10 pounds), i miscarried that one. my second pregnancy i was a little sick but it wasn't too bad, i had a healthy baby.

some people have it, some people don't. consider yourself lucky if you don't have it!

I just wanted to mention that every pregnancy is different. A lot of women have very mild morning sickness. Others never have it at all. Try not to fret if you're not hugging the side of a toilet bowl soon - it will mean you're one of the lucky ones. Wink

Thank you ladies. I was on this pregnancy calender site and it said that. you are right, I should't become so paranoid. It is just so hard after 2 m/c not to worry. I really got keep myself busy.

I didnt really have morning sickness. At times I felt nauseous but that was it. Many women go on to have healthy babies without morning sickness.

I am also almost 5 weeks pregnant and I have not had morning sickeness. I hear it is a better sign to have N & V. But it is a bit early I would imagine, not that I want to be N & V, but I certainly want a healthy pregnancy and baby.

Many women have morning sickness come on at 6-8 weeks, so you may just be early yet.

However, I'm at my last day in the 1st trimester (I'll be 13 weeks tomorrow!), and I have had no morning sickness except 1 day of nausea around 7 1/2 weeks that wasn't bad to deal with at all (I used to get pre-ovulation nausea that was worse than that).

Everything is going fine with my pregnancy so far. I had an ultrasound last week and the little baby was quite active, waving its arms and legs around.

Yeah...but I still don't look pregnant (this is my first), more like I've just put on a few pounds (which I have!). At least I'm not so bloated anymore, that was really terrible around 9-10 weeks.

I agree with the ladies on this one.

I'm not sure, as I go to the Dr.'s tomorrow. But I could be anywhere from 5-8 weeks preg right now. My period was in .march. But got a neg on the 4th of may. So who knows?

But, with my 1st, I was only nausious a little bit. The *only* time I threw up, was when I brushed my teeth!! So I had to minimize the amount to pea sized. Which helped dramatically!!

I just started getting a little nausious this morning. But it went away when I ate.

Every preg is different and if you don't vomit alll day everyday, you're very lucky.

My good friend had to be admitted to the hospital 5 times and put on .finergan throught her entire pregnancy for her vomiting. And she still puked the entire time. Becasue of this her baby was tiny. 5.15. Because she couldn't keep anything down.

I feel hella lucky!! lol!

I agree on this one! I am 36 weeks along with my third child and everyone has been different. My first was as easy as you could imagine most the time I could not even tell I was pregnant. This child I am carrying now I still have morning sickness... well 2am sickness. If you do not have morning sickness consider yourself very blessed Smile

Thanks ladies. Congrats Sarah. You thought you were between 5-8 weeks and you are 11? That is so cool. I started feeling nausea 3 days ago at 7 weeks, but nothing too bad. Just can's stand food.

Morning sickness kicked in for me at 5 weeks. One day I felt fine, the next day I was a mess. I just hit 12 weeks, and it's still there. I must admit, I am jealous of all the women who do not get morning sickness. It seems to sneak up on me at all times of the day, but primarily in the morning. I've always been in touch with my body, but morning sickness has really caught me off guard. Sorry to be gross, but I actually got sick in the car on the way to work one morning. I was mortified. So just because you may not have morning sickness now, be prepared for it. Don't let it sneak up on you.
