we just got home!
he is 13.4lbs & 23in long!
.he's in the 84th percentile for weight,
& i think the 70th(?) percentile for length..
& .the 77th for head circumfrence!
he's such a big boy!
he's super healthy & in the doctor's office he was just squawking & coo-ing & smiling. the doctor said his development is going extremely well & that he's growing great & he's all proportionate & everything.
he had his vaccinations. he criiiiiied & turned sooo red. i cried a little & scooped him up & held him tight & talked to him & he calmed right down. the nurse tried to give him the oral vaccination & he kept spitting it out. she kept laughing & saying he's a clever one, because most babies his age don't spit it out.
.we told the doctor he's taking 6-7oz at a time each feeding, & he said we should continue to feed on demand as much as he wants whenever he wants (duh).. unless he's taking more than 32oz in 24 hours, i think.. so i think we're right at the maximum. but he said since he's eating so much, we can start mixing in rice cereal with his formula.
overall, .gabe is doing awesome & the doctor was very pleased & very impressed with him.
we don't go back until .july 10th for a 4 month checkup!
