Q: Missed 3 Pills, Now Period Won't Go Away

I only missed 3 birth control pills, and on the third day my period started. I got my prescription filled and began taking them again right away...but it's been 2 weeks now of a very light period and its showing no signs of stopping. Every morning I check and theres just dark brown blood in small amounts. I've missed pills before and started up my birth control again, and the period would go away within about 3 days...What the hecks going on?

That is actually normal, I know it sucks, but it is normal.

Most women actually do bleed that way after they miss pills, and it can last until your next 'period week'...
