Aw .bridget.
.it'll only get worse when he starts to crawl. I know that doesn't make you feel any better, but it's true. I took a bath yesterday when .aaron came home and he was in charge of watching .alyvia. I'm halfway through shaving my legs when I hear screaming in the distance, followed by an "oh sh|t" that was way too close to the bathroom.
Alyvia had followed the cat into the kitchen and was trying to follow her into the bedroom. We have two stairs that lead down into our bedroom. Well, she pretty much went down those stairs face-first. And what was .aaron doing? Messing around on his computer. He hadn't even noticed she'd crawled out of the room.
.she has a pink line on the back of her head now, but is otherwise okay. It scared the hell out of .aaron and he got a serious telling-off from me. Some things you can't prevent, but others you definitely can. Alyvia's accident could have been prevented if he'd only been watching her like he was supposed to.
You're a good mom, .bridget! You take such good care of .finn. Try not to blame yourself, okay?
