I've been looking at some herbal alternative's to Viagra, because its not much fun trying to have relations with my wife when you cannot get an erection. I have heard that Viagra cause's a lot of side effects and I don't want to suffer from any of those.

you know, "balot" or a chicken's embryo can be an aphrodisiac. (the one's you see at X-factor). It's gross, but they say it is . . . Laughing

Be aware that herbs can have side effects too, there's not anything inherantly harmful about manmade drugs nor beneficial about natural ones.

If you go the herbal route, try to find a formula that does NOT contain Yohimbe. Most other ingredients they'd use should be rather safe, but check each one individually. Some are synthetic and others aren't to be taken for long periods and require on and off periods of usage.

Otherwise, a healthy diet rich in raw fruits and vegetables and exercise does well for all matters of health. Yes, including erectile problems. Some safe and extremely beneficial supplements you could take would be a multi-vit/mineral, Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs) especially Omega 3, and Lecithin. Protein is also important as it contains amino acids needed for many different tasks including getting erections. However, don't over do it because you're probably already getting enough.

I'm taking Viagra now for ED and have not had any side effects. Have you tried it? I am also looking into other possibilities, like yourself and would appreciate others' experiences. By the way, shellfish and strawberries don't help with ED, although previously I did find oysters to be a good aphrodisiac.
