Ovulation Tests And Breastfeeding ! Posted: 05-16-07 22:08pm
ok.. im 5 months postpartum and
exclusively breastfeeding! My hubby and i
had sex and well he slipped!! ooops.lol
well anyhow i had left over ovulation
tests!
so... ive taken one everyday since.. the
results.. today positive!
Could i still ovulate when breastfeeding?
And could i get a positive and not
ovulate??
So anyhow if i did ovulate it would put
intercourse 3 days prior to ovulation!

Your cycle can return at anytime during
breastfeeding. You will ovulate before
your period comes, so sex is never really
considered "safe" during breastfeeding.
So yes, you can definitely ovulate while
breastfeeding!
I'm not sure about the ovulation kits
though. I'm not familiar with them.
I think you should wait a few weeks then
take a pregnancy test. Good luck!
