ive had this sinus headache for about four years. 3 ct scans, septoplasty, allergy tests to confirm what i already knew and now they want to do a turbinate laser deal. seems like its just gettting worse and worse. i wake up with sinus pressure and headache at 4 am each morning, then i try to go back to sleep with little luck. im popping sudafed and advil clarinex and nasonex every day. i also have really bad gerd with a hiatal hernia that i take protonix for daily, i cant help but think that my headache is related to stomach contents going back in my head each night. ive brought this up to my ent and the gi doc but they dont believe it. it seems like im in a tug of war with doctors. im unemployed miseralbe and pretty much out of money to throw at this thing. soon ill be under the freeway with a headache. im not joking!!!!!..............i dont know what to do

I'm sorry that you haven't gotten any answers from your doctor yet. I assume that you have been tested for allergies. Does the medicine you take during the day help with your symptoms at all?

Try eliminating all dairy from your diet for 6 to 8 weeks and see if symptoms remit. Many times that is all it takes!

Good luck and God bless!

man, i completely understand you, medicine in north america really slow. doctors have a lack of practise and it seems you ask them what to do, because they don't give you a proper remedie. I saw one of the many ent in toronto, i've known already i have a sinus trouble set by physician with a good russian background, and he sent me to airflow(waste of time, i did it before and it was normal lol) i asked him to do scan of sinuse just in case, what you think he did? he said im a doctor, i know what to do, take a spray and try it(nasonex=50 bucks) but he gave it for free. anyway it didnt help and i've known it didnt, tried that before. I had turbinate removal with dr. Height and it sucked, nothing, same even worse pressure on a right side with problem to breath well. What can i add, i did mri which shown i'm clear. well, this feeling is terrible especially when you overloaded and tired.

You have a sinus trouble, you should wash out you sinuses and find the doctor who can do it, who can fix your spetum, who knows what to do, and it's a trouble, i live in toronto, canada, and found in a present time one well-referenced specialist as people say, his name is Solomon, my physician told me he is one of the best in North america, but waiting list is too long. my friend had same problem, broken nose last year, andhe found this doctor earlier than me, that doctor washed his sinuses using needle and did good septum recovery, and my friend is happy now. when i reach him, i share my experience. And in addition, broken nose is a very serious condition, so be careful. If i went to doctor next day i broke it, my trouble didnt grow so much, but what confuses is lack of good specialists even with a experience, very sad Sad
