Alright so in the last few months. My periods have gone from 7 days (heavy to very light) to 4 days (heavy to light & just stopping) So this time wasn't any different and my period was here for 4 days and then over..well two days later i started having dark brown discharge and have now had it for this past week. i know that the brown is old blood but is it normal for it to be going on for a week? maybe because my periods are shorter all of a sudden could be the reason but im just worried. I'm almost 21 and have never experienced this before. ever since my miscarriage 8 months ago my symptoms have increased and my periods length has decreased which is odd. ive always had cramps only and a lengthy period. is this normal too? Is it that my hormones are still out of wack from the miscarriage? lol sorry theres a couple questions in there if you have any input it would be greatly appreciated.
thanks

nope..not yet..once the insurance goes through im going to set up my first OBGYN and get a pap since its been a couple years and see about diff types of birth control..

i havent been on BC since i was 17..i had been on them from the age of 12-17 to regulate my periods and reduce the amount of blood.

Well I can't tell you for sure but I would guess that it's from the miscarriage or just a normal fluctuation. I wouldn't worry unless there is a serious amount of blood loss for a long time, or you think it might be some kind of infection or something (but then there would probably be other symptoms as well).
