Do this.....Cries and cries because he is tired. I put him down and figits and cries and tossed and turns and cries some more. This is everytime it's nap time...he rubs his eyes and keeps them closed but he can't get to sleep! Why does he do this? anyone else?

He's probably overtired.
I feed Ava a bottle before her naps and she usually falls asleep after she takes them in my arms and then I put her down asleep, but on days when she's overtired, she fights it.
Try to put him down a little earlier to see if it helps.

That's what my first thought was. Just lay him in bed earlier ^ and see if he puts himself to sleep.

Nancy i never get good shots of .Mia but I used to post them anyway!!!

I would think that he is over tired too. Amelia, still/normally, takes almost three naps a day. I have to make sure that she goes down before she hits that point or else i or anyone else can handle her. She is a mess. She has to sleep....yay for mamma!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nancy maybe it's just a phase that he is going thru. He could be getting teeth/or more teeth...does he have teeth yet? Or he could be going thru a growing spirt...Something like...you never know.

When Ava goes in her jumperoo, she gets tired quick!

All the advice was good!!

I wouldn't give him a bottle though everytime before nap time because he'll become dependent on it to sleep. MY nephew *cannot* sleep without juice or milk before he sleeps. And that can get expensive/aggravating.

Have you tried putting him on his belly/side to sleep? They get cozier, quicker, that way.

Amelia automaticly rolls to her side or tum...i have slept her on her side (no back or tum) since she was born....and now that she can "roll" she does as she pleases...
