i am on my 9th day of taking tri sprintec the generic BC for Ortho tri cyclen and i have slight cramps and noticed a little bleeding. it started late tonight (my ninth day) and first it was pinkish brown and mucousy discharge and then i noticed it again a half an hour later and it was more red and a little more liquidy. could i be experiencing break through bleeding this soon into starting birth control? the first day of my last period was exactly 13 days ago (at the most 14 days ago) does anyone know what this may possibly mean?

Low. You were a week in, and you used a condom. You're very safe.
