Hi,

I am 16 and expecting early this fall around november. This is my first year in Cegep, witch is the equivalent I think of junior college in the US (I finished high school last year).

How can I expect it will impact my semester ? will I miss a lot of class ?

Well i was told that no one pregnancy is alike..So in other words what happened to someone may not happen to you and visa versa..I'm 28 weeks along and everyone that I've spoken to said i have so much energy and etc and i feel pretty normal..besides the extra 20 lbs..haha..Its just how your body will handle the pregnancy..and best of luck with that Smile hope all goes well with school and all!

im sorry, im confused, are you asking what will it be like now (as in when your pregnant) or this next upcomming school year (as in after you have the baby)?

i dont exactly know what cegep is so i guess that is why im confused? is it a summer program or regualr school

as for when your pregnant, its hard but do-able, im 39 weeks pregnant and ive gone to school up until last week, now that ive been having contractions they dont really want me there cause they dont want anything to happen, its hardwork but if your determined you can do it

as for after the baby comes, it could go either way, if you have the support of family friends and the father then it may not be so hard, but if your doing it all yourself then it will be difficult, you will have to think about doctor appointments and when the baby is sick, also how you will get affordable decent childcare and other things like that, but again if your determined im sure you will do fine
