Q: Periods While Pregnant????

I dont know how possible it is to have a period while your pregnant, but ive read alot of things and about 50% of women get there periods and there regular bleeding while they are pregnant? Now here is my question... there could be a chance im pregnant can i take a pregnancy test while im on my period or whould that mess it up?? and if anyone else has had this i would love to know anything and everything you know.. thanks..

Your stat about 50% of women having normal periods while pregnant is completely false.

*Some* women have spotting early in thier pregnancy. A *few* women have regular period like bleeding early in pregnancy. (it is very uncommon) However, no bleeding during pregnancy is considered *normal* and should be brought to your doctors attention.

On to the question. No blood will not effect test results. So if you think you are pregnant you should test. It will put your mind at ease.
