Hi folks,

i am male, 37 and otherwise fit and healthy...Two years ago I had a full medical..Blood tests also...All clear including crp.

About 18 months ago I started to feel tired all the time, lethargic and generally run down, then I would have the runs...Then constipation..Then the runs and so on....Blood sometimes

my doc put it down to irritable bowel....And that was it .

About 3-4 months ago I started to feel really bad...Tired etc but done nothing and just got on with it..

About 4 weeks ago I had enough and he done blood tests which showed elevated crp at 22......I am due to see specialist this week, but what is concerning me is blood in the stools...Going to toilet about 4-5 times a day...Sometimes black other times runny with undigested food...To cap it all in the last month I have lost 10lbs in weight....But my doc does not seem overly concerned and says specialist will look at it.

Has anyone else had similar experiences.

Ta,

scotty.

I would be seeing a specialist straight away and asking for a gastroscopy and also a colonoscopy ! Good luck !
