It's very common to get razor burn, and pimples, and all kinds of junk when you shave.

I don't shave, so I can't really give you any tips on how you might be able to decrease your chances of getting them.

Hi welcome to ehealth.

I was reading ur post and was wondering if u maybe used a different kind of shaving cream? Or a different kind of razor? Somethimes that has something to do with it. I personally have shaved and once i got a piple or 2 but some times i get those little bumps when i use a different razor and cream. Hope that helped a little.

Using lotion can help, but be careful that it's got aloe and nothing else in it, or you're in for a very painful surprise!

If it's just razor burn and irritation, then yes, you will be fine. We can't tell you if you have herpes or any other STD or if you are getting cheated on. What you described sounds normal so far, but if you really think your boyfriend might be cheating, you could always get checked.
