Itchy pimple bumps above pubic area : Herpes ?

A herpes lesion is caused by the Herpes simplex virus (HSV). Typically, herpes-lesion go through an appearance change over time. In your case, you state that there is a “pimple” but you are not sure if it is filled with something or not. If it is filled with pus, the skin condition is called a superficial folliculitis. Superficial folliculitis is a bacterial infection. If there is nothing inside the bump, the condition is called papula and could beinfected with the Human papiloma virus (HPV)-wart. Those small bumps you notice could originate from the big one which is typical for warts (auto-spreading). Warts usually do not itch.
Further, Molluscum contaginosum is a skin viral infection caused by the virus Monitor hominis. Here the warts have a hole in the middle. When pressed from the sides, these warts expel some yellowish mass. Molluscum contaginosum can itch if it is secondarily infected with bacterium.

I have the same problem but have genital itching for last 7-8 months. I went to a dermatologiet who said it was not Herpes and gave me fungal treatment. It seemed to get better but the itching is back with one red bump and the bump lasts for about 3-4 days and goes away typicall. A hair is inside the middle of the bump. I do have HSV1 and have alwyas had outbreaks in my mouth. Plannned Parenhood and the dermatolgist said it was not herpes but i am worried again casue the itching is back and the whole pubic area itches and burns all the time. Going to an STD clinic to test the bump. Your thoughts?

i'm not sure if i have th same with you. mine is like extra skin that is very itchy. it doesnt look like a pimple, but really like extra skin on my vaginal lip and becoming more and more. this been a month,

I am 19 years old I am not sexually active but i did get eaten out last week after that i got bumps i was thinking i shaved that day it might be from that well the bumps turned into a rash and then now they look like pimples i have one big one and the rest are small.. i thought it could be ingrown hairs also.. do i have herpes or should i get this checked out? and they also sometimes itch and the the bumps have hair in the middle of it also..

look girl, i know what type of condtion and feelings you are going through but always keep one thing in mind that whenever you feel like having a symptom. first thing that should be done is to go and be tested. your condition is not so much serious but still if you feel so, then its better to consult your physician.

Sos! I went to an extremely cold weather my skin dried. Everywhere was itchy. Its been a month since I went home. I don't know if there's any relevance but mY pubic area has been itching in the morning and night. I first noticed white dandruff looking in my pubic hair.. Then when I scratch it becomes hard lumps that can't really be seen. Sometimes thE lumps burns maybe from scratching then it dries up..leaving extra skin looking like it popped or something.. Sometimes there's pus on the hair. I wouldn't say its std I haven't had sex for 8months and it was protected and I read bout herpes it doesn't seem like it.. Or warts.. Do you have an idea what it is? I'm very shy to go to the doc. I've never been. Please. I really need your help. Has anyone experienced this any solutIon?
