There doesn't seem to be any connection. But could there be any for a severe case of athlete's foot? I had an athlete's foot for a long time before developing gout 4 years ago. It became severe about 6 months ago, spreading to both feet and to the entiree foot area, to my toenails, and discoloring my toe nails (white)?

Anyone experience something similar? Thanks.

Gout And Yeast
Is there any connection to yeast and Gout. I read on line that in your diet yeast can be a problem. I am 30 and a nursing mom who has had a bit of a yeast problem on my breasts. A few days ago I started having a very painful big toe joint and have to walk very gingerly to avoid putting pressure on the ball of my foot, the symptoms are very simalar to Gout Does anyone know if there is a connection?
