Q: Strep Throat Question

Mad I am studying abroad in Brazil right now and typically would ask the doctor this, but I have no idea how to ask it in Portuguese...so here it goes. I know I have strep throat, I was diagnosed yesterday and have so far taken two rounds of antibiotics (yesterday morning and today). I am just worried because the inflammation and white pus stuff has also affected my gums on my lower jaw near the back where my molars are. Is this normal? Where my gums are affected almost hurts more than my throat now. Also, how many days does it take for the white pus to go away? Any comments would be appreciated, thanks!

It took me a good 4 days to feel better. Since your infection sounds quite bad I'd give it atleast 5 before seeing a doc. Hope you get well.
