Q: Pregnant Or Psyching Myself Out?

So I am not sure if anyone has gone through anything similar. But my husband and I are trying to get pregnant. My last official period was April 6th start date. My next one was due may 4th. I had slight brownish spotting on May 5th, and then 6th and 7th I had brownish menstrual like bleeding which turned pink at the end. Not quite as heavy, but not light spotting either. I am still having occasional spotting, specially after we have intercourse.
I have gained weight. I am exhausted, my boobs did hurt but now they dont. I have frequent vaginal discharge, I am always using the restroom. I am incredibly emotional and My lower back hurts. But all my urine pregnancy tests are negative, so I dont think I am pregnant, but so many things make me doubt it. Has anyone else experienced anything similar, negative tests but lots of symptoms.

I know this is not what you want to hear.... but I really think that you might be psyching yourself out this time. It sounds like you just had a really light period and want it to be the case so bad that you are looking into the little details, especially with the negative pregnancy test. There is always a chance though, so I don't want to dash your hopes... maybe you are and the bleeding was implantation bleeding, but honestly from what you've said, I'm guessing that it didn't happen this month. Keep us updated.

Figures
When I got my 'period' on the 5th, all my hopes went down and was all ready to get busy in May, so no worries there.
But now all these little things are making me doubt myself that I am not pregnant. 2 days ago.
Does having a UTI affect HCG in urine?

As far as I know, nothing should interfere with hcg levels except certain medications that contain the hcg, such as medications used in fertility treatment, so having a UTI shouldn't make a difference. Maybe the dates could be off a little or maybe you could try using an extremely sensitive test (if you didn't already), like one that can detect 25 mlU/ml, which can pick up something that the others didn't or maybe it will help to ease your mind if it is still negative. Hope this helps.

There are some women who don't excrete much HCG in their urine, especially in the beginning and they need a blood test to confirm the pregnancy. They won't get a positive on a home test until they are a week or 2 late with their period or even longer. It's not common, but it does happen. If you're concerned, just see the doc and get a blood test done.

It does sound like it could have just been a wacky period. There are some women (I was one of them), who have problems around the time they ovulate. As soon as my period would come on, I'd have mild nausea that would worsen in intensity until I ovulated (so bad it would make me throw up). The increasing estrogen around ovulation also caused me to become increasingly moody, to develop sore breasts, and to be absolutely exhausted (these symptoms were all on a worsening scale for me beginning shortly after my period to become quite severe when I ovulated).

Confused
I have never had any problems with af or o, in regards to symtpoms just some cramps on the day af arrives and some sore breasts leading up to.
I am so incredibly tired, I was unable to go to work all week, I am going to the bathroom tones and I have gained about 5 lbs in 2 weeks. Something is up, I dunno what. I dont think pg, but I dont know what else to think?
What are the chances that I am one of those ppl that dont have hcg in my urine?? And if I was pg my boobs would not stop hurting.
I am so confused

Maybe you should go get a blood test just to make sure. That will be the only way to rule out pregnancy

Go in for a blood test just to be sure. If you're not pregnant, maybe see about getting your thyroid tested. Hypothyroidism can cause weight gain & fatigue.
