Hello I am a 20 year old female who recently went for a medical for a new job. As routine they took a urine sample too test for diabetes. The nurse then told me I had small traces of blood within my urine. She then went on to tell me it was nothing to worry about, quite common and maybe next time I saw my GP to get him to test it again.I then had to go through to the Doctor who was checking my ECG results etc. And then pulled me up on this blood trace. He said it was very unusual for a 20 yr old girl. He didn't come up with any possible outcomes. Any ideas? Ive got to go back on Tues for another urine test. Slightly worried. Thanks

can be normal. The blood could be from the vagina if the test isn't done carefully. Period blood.
