medication alone is not enough to stop
breakout,as various factors such as
>stress
>hormonal changes
>inadequate sleep
>reaction to environment changes.
>mindset
contribute to it.you need to check and see
if any of these factors is applying to
you.if they do,you will need to find a way
to control them.

Acne has been quite severe in my family
for generations and most of the adults
have scarring. My brother, nephew and I
have all received treatment via the
hospital and have been very lucky with the
treatment we got. I asked my doctor to
refer me after reading about the positive
effects on the skin of pure vitamin A and
retinol. We all spent 16 weeks on
Roaccutane and we've now been spot free
for over 10 years. Its not for the faint
hearted and has quite severe side effects
so make sure you look into it properly.
Your G.P will tell you if he thinks you
are suitable but ask for a referal to a
dematologist as they also do it now in the
form of a topical gel.....my son is
currently using this with some success,
the initial redness and flaking has gone
and he is so far spot free. Good luck.
