i got my colposcopy results. biopsy good but they still want to do a leep procedure because of the pap results. asc-h. atypical squandous cells /cannot exclude high grade intrapithelial lesion. also could not tell if cell were higher up as cervix was nearly closed. i heard they sometimes do this when it really isn't necessary. would like a little more information on what this really means and is it more than likely a mistake on my original pap result. thanks!

I'm glad the biopsy came out well-

Don't be afraid to ask your doctor this stuff!!! There is nothing wrong with sounding dumb and asking "What does that mean?"
