Hello,
For about the past two years, I've been having a problem which is becoming increasingly worse. I tend to visit the restroom in excess of 9 times a day to have a bowel movement. If I don't go, I get a very uncomfortable feeling in my abdomen, usually around my intestines. Feels like severe cramping.

It's only after I have a bowel movement that I get any relief.

This can be slowed somewhat, or reduced, by taking immodium.

Also sometimes I get a whitish-puss-like release with my stool. It's usually following a period where I have to hold in my urge to go, and accompanies gas.

Anyone know what this could be? Worse and worse over 2 years...dosen't matter what I eat.

THanks!

have you seen a dr about this? Could be IBS, irritated intestines etc a number of things, best bet would see a gastro dr not the pcm but u may need to see them to get a referrel to the gastro dr. depends how you insurance works, all i can tell ya is that that is not normal but its hard to figure out what is causing it as well.
