Once to twice a month I get a bump on the end of my tongue. It has been happening for about 10 months now. What causes this and should I be concerned?

its kinda funny but my mommy always told me you get those when you crave somthing (to eat) and don't get it when you want it... but the more logical explination i've heard are they are either burnt taste buds, ate somthing that you could have had a small allergic reaction to or you bite it... hope that helps you out.
