Ok, here goes. I have had this all my life and it has bothered me but, it has never seemed to bother the man i'm with. Do you think men don't care or I just found real good men? Lol! Mine are quite asymmetrical and are noticable in certain things. i cannot wear low-cut or tight tops. Years ago as a teen it was not as noticable but, as I have had kids it's noticable. I was told by doctors it'll get better on it's own probably after I had kids..Nope! I was able to breastfeed though. I was never told why I had it or what may have caused it. Any clues??? My hubby doesn't care but, ya know i've always wanted to be normal. i'm very self conciuos about it like i'm hiding a secret i'm sick of! I am so jealous when my friends flash or wear sexy things because they have cute normal breasts or when I was younger dressing for gym class with all the girls there...Ugh! None of my friends know and i'm embarassed to tell them. Girl's weekends are a nightmare I have to hide my breasts I can't feel free and happy...Ya know! I have 1 friend that I know would dog me out on it or bring it up as a joke etc... You know women..Ha! Finding clothes etc. Is hard because I want to look good but cleavage... If you look you can tell.
I have always wanted plastic surgery but, when I saw a few surgeons they kinda looked at me like I was a weirdo. Like they have never seen it. Their solution was to chop up the larger one to make a small breast to match the other side..Uck! I'm a large framed person and small b isn't an option.
So, I wanted to know if anyone else has heard of this, had this, had surgery to fix this, or knows someone who did and what the outcome was. Thanks! Embarassed

Yes, I have heard of it. It is rather common. I wrote a little about it in the thread that's in the men's forum. I don't have that problem, but if I did, I would just go with it. The way I see it, people are all supposed to be different and probably not quite flawless in appearance. My friend had an uneven top, and she left it alone too. Neither of us ever saw it as a big deal. Neither did any of her partners.

There are pads you can slide into bras to help even them out temporarily, which will help a lot for every day clothing, or you can get breast surgery on either or both breasts to even them out. You could have the larger breast reduced or the smaller breast enlarged. Breast reduction honestly looks more natural because you're not placing something false in there.

It is however very common to have differently sized breasts. I have a friend with a dd and a ddd!!

Well, surgery can help, and you can specify to make sure that they don't disconnect your nipple! That way you retain feeling in your breast.

may have to look into the surgery thing again...see if there's anything new. i'd just like to find a doc that is experienced with these. it's just so humiliating in the plastic surgeons office...ugh!

you are not disgusting or ugly at all. people are always more critical or themselves than they are of others. i am sure your breasts are beautiful. noone is made symmetrical - my breasts are not symmetrical. i dont know anyones who are. it is very common for one boob to be bigger than another. try to learn to love your imperfections!

if this is really something that causes you anguish all the time and you feel you can never come to terms with it, then maybe you should research some sor tof way to even them up wothout surgery. i wouldnt recommend surgery. it is too drastic of an action. there is a device you can get ( i think it might be called brava... one of the brands is called brava anyway, i think you can get others too) and it is a non surgical way to make breasts bigger by suction. look it up, maybe it is possible just to use it on one breast?

Like fiona, I just don't like the thought of surgery. It is certainly an option if you want to take it, but honestly, I don't think it is right for most people. I think a lot of people feel a little down or self conscious, and they try to get surgery to feel better. However, I think a lot of the times the problem is mental. It's how the person sees him or herself. I think the root of the problem here is that you just need to realize that it's common, it's not a big deal, and that you can still look great, and feel good about yourself as you are. Don't be afraid to look into therapy to help boost your self-esteem if necessary. Otherwise you just end up like Michael Jackson getting surgery after surgery because the real issue isn't being addressed. Laughing

Thanks to you all but, I don't think you realize how different they are. One is about a large A to small B and the other a large D. It is extremely noticable. I have seen other women's breasts that have a difference but, never as much as mine. Even the plastic surgeons I saw 5 years ago said it. Believe me I do not want surgery at all so, if anyone knows of some other way please advise me. Who knows maybe someone else has dealt with this big of a difference and can tell me information. Thanks All!!
