How far along are you?

i found out sunday so im not 100% sure but according to a couple website i've been investigating on im 5 weeks along. so not very far but its CRAZY i had no idea! i went to take it cuz i was 3 days late and in the past i take the test and sure enough i get my period a day or two later.. like the test knows. and no no no this time it was a cross... i was freaking out. but i've come to peace with it, still scared, but excited!

are you going to get married before or after the baby comes?

We have been engaged for a month.. but he didn't have a ring. and we originally planned on getting married august 16th of 08 but with the baby.. i kinda wanna make it sooner. but if we do decide to do that we are only gunna do it through the court. do you think thats a good idea. i just want the baby to have his last name. i hear its really hard to get new paperwork (ssi, birth certificate ect.) he tells me its up to me if i wanna do it now or on the original date.. any advise?

you don't have to be married to give the baby his last name.

don't rush into getting married just because you're having a baby. take your time and do it exactly the way you want to.

nick and i got married legally so i could be on his insurance (we'd been engaged for over a year), but our families don't know and it wasn't anything close to what i imagined my wedding day to be. now we're having a real wedding in october and it's exactly what i want it to be.

Personally, I would get married before the baby was born but everyone is different. There are pro's and con's to both I think.

thank you so much that what i want to do! and that what i am going to do. just with all thats happening i do see myself having the money needed in that short amount of time.. it might be extended out.
