hello guys,,
last year 2006 when i arange my papers for
working in the states(abroad) , the doctor
discover that i have hepa b, i'm really
surprised although i do smoke but
ocationally i drink.
i can't accept that i have that really
desease , i got 3 times check up but the
same its always positive.
i'm starting searching on the net what was
the cause, symptoms and the cure, although
many said that there is no cure at all,
but few said all i need to do is just take
a herbs/vitamins that can supply immune
system or can add more immune. I read all
symptoms and i not experience any symptoms
. all i got is just sometimes i got pain
on my nape, and i was thinking that
becuase of my job 8 hours facing on the
computer. and that's all..
my question is..what kind of HEba-b that i
have now? and i don't really know what is
the difference in (acute hepa-b)and
non-acute?

I am no expert but as I understand acute
means you only just got it, had the
symptoms then it goes but chronic means
ongoing, had it for years without many
problamatic symptoms.
Symptoms are not necessarily drastic &
can just seem like Flu, while others can
be very ill.
It is possible to get Hep B through
unprotected sex, blood, body fluid
exposure or drug abuse. 50% of cases are
through unprotected sex.
Many Hep B sufferers will get better
however they will possibly become carriers
as they haven't developed the antibodies.
As such it is best that you practice safe
sex untill you know that you're not a
carrier.
So in answer to you're question if you had
the symptoms for a while but not been that
bad it is probably chronic. If the
symptoms have been quite bad but short
livd then it's probably acute.
Hope all goes well & feel free to get
back to me if you require any further
advise.

You don't necessarily have symptoms with
Hep. B.
What treatment are you having?
