Call the cops or local mental health organization. They'll know how to commit someone who is out of their minds and evaluate them. IF nothing else, it'll start a nice paper trail for you to use if you end up having to fight for your kids. Good luck.

Russ,
I have dealt with bi-polar on a personal level and the hcg diet actually helped me, my husband and kids(2-1yr old girl and 1-10yr.old boy w/aspergers. After detoxing my system of all the toxins in food, sodas, alcohol, etc;I have felt great ever since. I know everyone is different and she could be effected differently but I think that cleansing the system and eating clean is the best medicine for most ailments. I think maybe there is another underlying trigger to her problem. I wish you all the luck in the world. I know that the exaggerated outbursts can be very damaging to the family. Just try to remember that in her mind she is justified in her actions. It's a paranoia factor and that may be the same with anyone new to come into her life. Constant reassurance seems to work best in those times of weakness.
Much peace to and your family,
Laura
