A couple of inches above my navel I have a lump or bulge. It is on the inside. It does not hurt. Nothing to push in like they do with a hernia. ???????????? Could it be one?

certainly sounds like one. Go get it checked out. With any hernia there's a possiblity of bowel becoming trapped within it. This is called "Incarcerated" and can become an emergency.
