I went to the ER early on April 28th, for a severe headache and was first sent for a CTscan, then a Lumbar puncture. The Dr. who first tried, was unsuccessful, after the 6th-7th try, I couldnt take it and told him to stop. Later that morning, I was told a new Dr. was going to try again. First of all, I heard him ask who did the first try, when he heard, he said an ER Dr. is not supposed to do the procedure. Secondly, Once I was sent home, I became stiff and sore. I went to my family Dr. Monday, April 30th. He prescribed me 282mep's and sent me for blood tests, he also was not happy at the amount of puncture wounds on my back. Well here it is, May 10th, and I am still having lower, middle AND upper back pain. I cannot walk without sharp pains at the site where they gave the LP. Is this normal, and if not, why is it still sore sore. Also is it normal for it to feel like I have an epideral going into my back when I take a breath in, (popping cartilage).
