Sex hurts : penis can't enter , raw vaginal opening Posted: 05-10-07 09:41am
For the past about 10 months everytime my
husband and I start to have sex it hurts
so bad he can't enter me. It's like my
whole opening is raw or something and it
burns and hurts real bad just when it's
touched. It feels like he's putting a lot
of force but he says he's barely touching
it. It's the same way with my clit,
touching the tip of it is very painful
too.
Every once in a while we can do it and it
not hurt bad enough to make him stop but
normally it hurts so much with him just
touching it that I cry.
Someone please help, I don't want this to
continue.

Painful sex, called "dyspareunia", can be
due to many reasons. The vagina alone
can’t be experienced as painful but the
outer genitals like the vulva and the
organs around the vagina such as the
parametrium can create pain. Therefore,
any disorder, infection, tumor, etc. of
the vulva or parametrium can cause painful
sex. You SHOULD visit your gynecologist to
confirm or exclude possible organic
reasons for dyspareunia. If everything is
OK, the remaining possibility would be a
psychiatric, mental, or emotional reason
for pain during sex.
