now that i found out im pregnate im not drinking a sip of anything! My friend had told me that red wine was okay to drink every once in a good while (but of course not get drunk) i just wanted to know if anyone else had heard this??

I've also heard that it is okay on occasion, but I'm with you in that I never touch a single drop of alcohol while pregnant.

my doc told me every drink you have even if it is a very low percentage gives u a risk of having a alcohol syndrome baby

Not saying that I will.

But my doctor thinks it is fine in moderation. So you should consult with your doctor and use your judgement.

My doctor said that it is fine in small amounts but I have only had a sip or two maybe once or twice.

Rolling Eyes i had two glasses of wine during my entire pregnancy my dr. laughed at me when i told him because i was paranoid...he said nothing wrong with wine but dont drink it everyday!

My doctor recomended a glass of wine a night. I drank it here and there...but not too often.

I wouldn't do it. Some people say it's okay if you don't do it often, but there's no real facts to prove how much is safe or if it's even safe at all. Why risk it?
