According to my gastro Dr. NO...........Makes me sick, the colon cleansing companies in the world trying to make a fast buck. Why anyone would want to flush bad bacteria,etc back into their system is beyond me......My ass says EXIT ONLY. Thats where EXCRETA, POO, FECAL MATTER...whatever you wnat to call it comes from. As for cleansing your colon, if you eat a healthy diet with plenty of fiber and lots of water, your system should be clean. So many rumors that the individual colon has 7 pounds of solid watyes build up in hte walls of hte colon.this is BULL $$$$. If yo uare diagnosed with colon cancer, such as my father was 2 years ago, depending on where the cancer is and the stage it was caught, there are many options, such as surgery and chemo. Listen to what a cancer Dr. tells you. If you don't like that opinion, find another Dr.

Suggestion, go to Walmart and buy the generic brand of "Equate Fiber Therapy". I mix this with water and drink it every day. Knowing cancer runs in our family, I try to eat lots of fruits and green veges, plus drink at least a quart of water a day. Limit red meat to once a week. Alos, stay active! Roughage is NOT a cure!

You need chemo or cancer treatment.

The only cure is going to be through modern medicine. Cancer kills, and you can die from colon cancer, as it can spread to other parts of the body.

Please seek proper medical treatment.

I really think roughage is the way to go. All natural and none of the man made chemicals that are found in chemo therapy. I'll give equate a try and maybe some of those colon blow products at the piedpooper.

Ralph, when were you diagnosed? My father was first diag. with testicular cancer, the following year colon cancer. He made it 2 more years and I lost him to this damned cancer last April. If your Dr tells you that he thinks chemo will give you a better chance, then by all means go for it. But, by trying to"colon blow" it out, thats ridiculous.............and unheard of. The only way you are going to stand a fighting chance is to listen to the suggestions of your cancer Dr. There is not alternative when it comes to cancer. Please take of yourself? Roughage is best for prevention and as an adjunct therapy. Cancer is not something to play with, it spreads, it is a serious condition. Suggest you seek the best medical care available to you, your loved ones would likely agree.

Studies published in a respected medical journal have shown supplemental calcium may help. Dannon yogurt has a good product out called activia. From a Naturopathic view you may want to eliminate all sugars from your diet it has been shown that cancer cells gobble up sugar. Check you pH (saliva test) try to keep your body alkaline (you should read up on that). Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day to help (read your bodies many cries for water). Kombucha tea. Some people say that a herbal formula with blood root etc has been a God send (black salve). Many adopt a vegetarian diet. One thing you may want to consider what ever you have been doing is likely to have at least contributed to your condition, switching gears may be the answer. But don't ignore good medical advice.
