I didn't even attempt to use a tampon for my first couple of periods. The idea alone made me want to panic. And when I did finally use one it wasn't very comfortable at all. I just started to be able to really wear one in December, I think.

i had a c-section but i still didn't want to use a tampon. i wanted everything to be free to come out, just in case there were any clots or anything. i used pads for my first period.

I hated every minute of wearing pads. It's like you can't do anything and you have to be careful how you sit or stand. Plus I was a noided freak and kept checking my bum to make sure I hadn't sprung a leak! Embarassed

I might be really weird but I hate tampons!

This may be tmi but I get really large clots and so the tampons don't work that well. Besides, pulling them out and then seeing clots come out with it makes me sick to my stomach every time.

I used tampons 5 weeks after giving birth. (I got in trouble from my doc lol) It didnt hurt bad when I inserted the aplicator ( I only had 3 small tears tho). It felt a little weird cuz I could still feel it inside of me. lol I guess cuz I didnt wear them for 40 weeks.

Sex on the other hand hurt like a m-fer! Still isnt that comfortable but its getting better each time Very

yeah i couldn't do that pad thing. i can't even feel my tampon up there & it doesn't hurt putting them in or taking them out. so i am sticking with it! no pads for me. especially when its almost 90 degrees out. nuh uh.
