I got on the pill early Dec. 2006 and decided to get off of it early Mar. 2007, after i got off it i got my period mar. 18 (2 weeks after i calculated it would arrive) and now i am about 2 weeks late again...i was expecting it Apr. 22 (i calculated this date according to my cycle before i was ever on the pill)...the last time i had sex was about 2 weeks before i got off, and i've only fooled around with my boyfriend (w/o penetration) and the last time i we fooled around was a little over 4 weeks ago...i dont think im pregnant because last time i was (miscarriage) at just two weeks my breasts were very sore and tender and if i was this time i would have felt my breasts like so a long time ago....SO MY QUESTION IS: IS IT NORMAL TO HAVE A MISSED/LATE PERIOD AFTER HAVING ONE PERIOD AFTER GETTING OFF OF BIRTH CONTROL? i heard it took anywhere from 2-3 cycles to go back to your regular cycles before the pill no matter how long you were on it...is this true?

Yes, it's true it can take several months - up to a year - for your cycle to return to normal.
