Q: Anyone Know From Experince?

I think I may be pregnant, but is too soon for me to take an at home pregnancy test. I have compared my symptoms to those of different pregnancy symptoms web sites.

Here are my symptoms:
Vomiting and nausea for the past 6 mornings
Sore swollen breast and nipples
Darkened areola
Bloating
Heart burn
Frequently Urinating

I’ve also been unusually emotional. Example: the other day I started bawling because I couldn’t find the button to open the trunk of my car. I am never like that!

Welcome to ehealth!

If you are far enough along to be experiencing all these 'symptoms' then you would get a postitive test by now. How long ago did you have unprotected sex? When is your period due?

Well, I’ve only been married for 2 years, so sex is something that happens almost every night, to answer the question about how long ago I had unprotected sex. I am not supposed to have my period for another week or two, to answer the question of when my period is due.

I know it seems too early for me to have all of those ‘symptoms’ (that is what I thought at first), but I have read that some women experience these within the first couple of weeks of becoming pregnant. My husband and I had sex the last day of my period and almost every night since then.

No I didn't say it's too early. I said that you would get an accurate result by now if these are all pregnancy symptoms you are experiencing. Unless you are an avid temp charter there is know way for you to know for sure when you o'ed so it could have been earlier in your cycle then 'normal'. I think you should go ahead and test. However, the symptoms that you are experiencing could be form both o'ing or pmsing so try not to get your hope up (I know that is easier said than done)

Are you ttc?

I tested last week when I first started vomiting. The results were negative. However, I read the test pack and it said it could not give accurate results until 4 days before your missed period. At that time I was 2 weeks away from this missed period. So it was obvious to me at that point that the results were not going to be correct. My last period was 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I have 8 days before I can test and get correct results. Even at that I read on this forum that a negative test result could be wrong.
What does ttc stand for, so that I can answer that question.

Sorry about that. ttc mean trying to conceive. And the 5 days before thing is based off when you ovulated.

You normally ovulate 14 days before your next period, not 14 days after your last. (If that makes any since) So really you can test 14 days past ovulation (dpo). So if you o'ed earlier in your cycle then normal you would get an accurate result earlier than normal. What you are probably experiencing right now are ovulation signs. If you are ttc you may want to bd (babydance) tonight. Have there been any changes in your discharge?

No. We arn't ttc. I wouldn't care if I am either way. I will be excited if I am, and go back to life as normal if not. I just want to know!, ya know?
The only reason I wouldn't see these as ovulation signs is because these are things that I normally do not go through.
When I first vomited, I thought," oh I ate something bad". But, I vomit every day, around the same time, and only once a day. I haven't changed anything in my diet for it to be the same bad eaten thing making me vomit.
Discharge is normal for the most part. Every other day or so I will notice a light pink/brown color in my underwear, not much though, and it is always dry by the time I notice it. This has happend only twice in the past week.

With some of those signs it really sounds like a possibility. (but our body can play tricks on us) If you tested last week, I would wait a week from that date. (say it was last thurs, wait until this thurs) and test agian.

Good luck!
