Welcome to ehealth!

Yes, you are very fertile after having a baby. How long ago did you deliver? Have you had unprotected sex?

You could definitely get pregnant from either of those encounters. My suggestion is to wait two weeks and take a pregnancy test.

Do you guys want another baby now?

I don't want to scare you....But things might not be ok. Pre cum can easily get you pregnant. Especially after birth or miscarriage when you are very fertile. You need to start using some form of birth control (ie condoms) until your checkup when you can get on something else. It's to late for the map. So hopefully you got lucky and won't get pregnant from that experience. But rest assured, we have many women on here that have pregnancy scares shortly after birth with good out comes. I'm sure they'll be along soon to give some advice.

I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not. I would assume not. But I'm sure someone on here knows the answer and will let us know soon!

i doubt it makes a different, just please start using condoms.

you guys don't want another baby so there's no reason for you to be even sticking it in without anything for just a few minutes, precum has sperm in it and all it takes is one time.

Do you go back to your doctor for a postpartum checkup in about two weeks?

You should use condoms until you see him in two weeks. When you see them tell them about the situation. They will give you a pregnancy test while you are there, and by that time it will be accurate. If it comes back negative then you need to get on birth control (which ever type you choose)that day. I think that having another child so soon together, especially considering your age(no offense) would be very hard. What is done is done, so there is nothing that needs to be said or that can be done about that. But you need to take precaution in the future. (as you already know) Good luck hun, please keep us updated!

That's why I made the post saying at her age (no offense) that would be a lot to handle. I can't imagine two now let alone at 16
