Just wondering, I had sex the other night and the condom actually broke in half.. I think the top half of it is still in me.. would it do anything to me or will it decinegrate? or eventually come out?
Ive never had this happen before and just curious if anyone knows.
Thanks : )

You need to wash your hands, get in a comfortable position, and then fish it out.

It may not come out on its own and if you leave a piece inside you it could cause you to become sick.

If you are uncomfortable with this or simply cannot find it when you try, consider scheduling an appointment with your gynecologist to be sure.
Peace,
Jenn

hey ok, so i tried to get it out, and it doesnt seem to be there, It was a thin condom, do you think we just couldnt find it, or that it may be farther in me. Should i get it checked out and tell the doctor that i cant find it but I dont wanna risk it? what do you think he would do?

It might come out on its own. Your discharge is meant to flush things out. It's possible it came out and is in your blankets somewhere too.

However, if it is in there, the longer it's in there, the more you're leaving yourself open to infection. If it does not come out on its own and if you can't fish it out by tomorrow, then I think going to the clinic is a good idea.

The doctor would just look in there and fish it out if it is there.

so, Ive been checkin a lot to see if i can get the condom out of me.. Its almost been a week, I cant find it iin me... Im thinking it came out and we just cant find it. Its almost been a week, do you think that if there was an infection to happen, that it would of happened by now?
do you think i should still go to the clinic and tell them about last week?

I have a feeling its not in me, It was a thin condom, so i just dont know if we couldnt find it in the bed....Could it be possible that its very far in there? ..Ive read posts that women had to get their nurse to get it out... what would she be able to do better then me for fishin it out??

Just wondering, Thanks

It's pretty rare that that happens. The doctor would have the advantage of a light and a thing that holds your vagina open.

If going to the clinic is not too much trouble, it isn't a bad idea. Better safe than sorry just in case.

It can't be very far in your body if it is in there. Your cervix would make sure that it stayed in your vagina and did not go any farther than that.

Tough to say.
