But this forum seemed the closest.
I have a lump under my right but cheek,
about half the size of an egg. It is
quite tender to the touch, and it begins
to hurt after sitting down for a while.
I only noticed it a few days ago, but I am
worried that it may be something out of
the ordinary.
How important is it to see a doctor about
this....ASAP or can i wait a week?

Since we don't know what it is, it's tough
to say if waiting a week is dangerous or
not. My guess would be that it is safe to
wait a week, but that's just a guess, like
I said. It could be a simple infected
hair follicle or boil, in which case
waiting a week should be ok. So it's up
to you.
