My gyno told me to get on birth control to help with my PCOS but I hate the way it makes me moody. It also was supposed to regulate my periods, but I still havent had one. They told me to take Provera to start it, but that didn't work either. I told the gyno that I hated my birth control and I wanted to try something else. But he insisted that what I was doing was right, but I dont think it is. I feel so much more worse when on it, than when I wasn't taking anything. any advice is appreciated.

My advice would be to find a new gyno. If it is making you miserable, there have to be other options. Being miserable is not worth it.

However, I don't know anything about how birth control works with pco's. But I think its worth a second opinion.
