I Have Another ? About Reading
Posted: 02-22-04 00:42am

My question is is it okay to read like horror books. I was told that the baby can take that in. I don't want my baby to have a craaazy imagination, lol. I was wondering if this is true, what about when you read it to yourself and not out loud. I told you guys I have 1,001 questions. I had a little help from a friend who told me I needed to post more, so that is what I am doing and I am learning alot. First time mommies, we need to know everything, lol.
Lots of love,
heather

I would think it's fine! Lol
as long as you arent' reading books that are scaring you yourself. Because the baby can sence fear. But if its a scary book..... Ya know what I mean. You aren't like freaking out panicking I think it would be alright!

Okay I thought that would be fine just have my little worries. That one is sort of an old wise tale I guess, you know like if you watch a scary ovie, your baby will have lots of hair, stuff like that. Thanks

I hear all these old wise tales and I start freaking! I am a first timer here and it is about scary the things they say. It makes you feel like you don't need to do anything. Then if something is wrong with your baby you think, what did I do wrong????!!!!! I just am having trouble getting use to all this, lol. Thanks again!!
Lots of love,
heather

You are going to be hearing a million old wives tales while you are pregnant. Most of them are just that..Tales. Not much to worry about. I you have any big concerns you should cunsult it with your doctor. Thats the best thing to do.
