Hey girls,
i was looking at the feb 2004 issure of parents magazine and I read something that in my opinion was truly right!
This girl had her son at 15 and this was her last paragraph in the story.
"and i'd like the world to know that teenage moms can be every bit as caring, loving, perfect, or imperfect as any other mother. We're parents too and we're just like any other parent, only a little younger and with a little bit more to learn."
i'm not a teen mother but I thought that was a very good summary of how being a teen mother isn't as "bad girl" as it's made out to be. All of you are mothers or are going to be mothers and I know you will do your best to raise your children to be the best they can be! I think anyone that puts down a teen mother should take a look into his/her own like. Afterall, people make mistakes and you are all mothers after all!
