Q: Lumps under foreskin of penis during erection
asked by: DoctorQuestion on May 5th, 2007
I noticed some lumps on the back of my penis a while ago and thought nothing of them, but now im growing more concerned. They are hard to notice normally but can be felt clearly when I have an erection.
I 1st found, on the back, about an inch below the head, (when erected) 2 small lumps next to each other. I then notcied another one about an inch lower and possibly a kind of smaller line joining it to the other two.
This has scared me because if it is cancer then its obviously spreading.
They are not on the foreskin, but underneath it and are painless.

As a 16 year old im sure you can understand it will be very difficult for me to tell anybody about this. If I decide to visit the doctor it would be in secret and quite an ordeal for myself.
Also im not sure how im going to show the doctor the lumps because they are very subtle when my penis is normal.
also you might need to know, i haven't had sex yet and i masturbate regularly about once a day.

thanks for any help
rob.

You will have to visit your primary health provider or a dermatologist and show the doctor the bumps on your penis. You'll need a physical examination including inspection and palpation first to establish proper diagnosis.
