I would like advice because I am fairly anxious. I have been on birth control for approximately 5 years, and the last 2-3 it's been Orthotricyclen Low. Also, my boyfriend and I ALWAYS use condoms--just in case.
Last Saturday (7 days ago) we had sex and after he was "done" the condom came off inside me. It had never happened before so we checked the condom for holes, but just in case I took Plan B approximately 25 hours later (taking the second dose as scheduled).
I'm worried because a couple of days before the incident I had forgotten a pill, so took two at the same time. Also, in the upset I forgot to take my last pill that Saturday. This was my LAST active pill. I typically start my period on Wednesday or Thursday. How possibly is it that I could get pregnant? Also, how long could Plan B delay my period? I'm just nervous. . .

Well i think the best thing for you to do is go to a clinic, tell them what happened and they will know more on how to handle this, do a pregnancy test if you wanna know for sure, but the clinic i think is your best bet! good luck, hope it all works out for u!

A pregnancy test would do nothing...

You are not pregnant a few days after sex anyway, and you cannot test for 14 days after sex.

You did the right thing in doubling up on pills...

Plan B will delay a period, it could even cause to to miss your period.

Thanks for the advice so far. I'm sorry to obsess. . .I do appreciate it. I'm sure you can imagine my frustration/anxiety. Are there any additional thoughts or information about the TIME the condom mishap happened? Since it happened on the day of my last active pill, is it less likely that I'd get pregnant. I feel like I've had my typical PMS symptoms. . .
So, to recap: was on bc(but had to double up on dose one night and missed very last pill), used a condom(though it came off in me, it was only the top--the condom opening was still outside), and used Plan B approx. 25 hours after.
I need to wait at least fourteen days after the date of possible conception to take a pt?

Honestly?

You most likely aren't pregnant. I can say that with high certanty. I woul relax, not stress, and keep taking your pills once the new week starts - even if your period hasn't come yet. Firstly, because you're probably not pregnant, and you want to keep it that way! Secondly, even if you were pregnant, the pills aren't going to hurt anything... but it doesn't matter because you're safe Smile
