Q: Cannot Penetrate More Than 2 Inches Without Extreme Pain

Today, I had sex for the first time. However, it didn't really work. Nothing can penetrate more than 2 inches without causing me extreme pain. I was very lubricated and relaxed, and on my own I have tried. When I put my fingers in and press in, I feel a wall that's blocking penetration. It causes not only pain, but I simultaneously need to go to the bathroom (both ways). I've tried dildos/lubricants, but I can't seem to get past that "wall". Can any one please help? Thank you so much.

Have you been to see an ob-gyn?

You need to see a obgyn or at least your family doctor soon, this does not sound right. Try not to worry but do get it checked out !

I have. I haven't had a full pelvic exam, but a quick one, and she said everything was fine. I tried to feel what it was, and it seems almost like a tongue structure obstructing it... I have my period and everything, so I'm pretty confused.

Thanks for the advice though. I think I'll go again soon.

Good idea. Make sure you tell her about the trouble you are having. Maybe she can take a look, give you some information, tips, anything!

Are you close to being on your period? Sometimes if you have sex while all the tissues of your cervix and uterus are thick it can hurt pretty bad and he may not be able to penetrate that far because your cervix is farther down during that time, and is very tender. I have had a similar experience
