Hi. My fiance and I are getting married soon, and will soon attempt to concieve. Is there anything that I can do to ensure healthier sperm? To increase the count?

Extremely eHealthy
The female in the relationship needs to see an ob-gyn and tell her that she plans on trying to conceive. The ob-gyn will make sure she is healthy enough to carry a baby. She should not drink, smoke, or do any drugs (other than legal drugs that the ob-gyn says are safe to take while trying to conceive), even if she does not plan on conceiving for some time yet. All of the garbage that is in those things can get into her eggs. Women do not make new eggs during their lifetime. We are born with all that we will ever have. So any junk that gets into our body can get into our eggs.

Men don't have quite as much to worry about since they always make new sperm. The man should not drink, smoke, or do drugs for at least 30 days before trying to conceive. This will increase his chances of having healthy sperm and of having all of the sperm that he can have, since some of that stuff can decrease sperm count or cause sperm to be deformed.
