Q: ? About Bath Salts And Bath Spas

Hi everyone, I have another question for ya just thought I would let our new members know I am 17 weeks and 6 days preggy. I got this nice bath set and it came with bath salts. My mother says I should not use the salts till I ask my doctor. Just wondering does anyone use these salts? Does anyone know if they are okay for our babies?
My next question is about the bath spas. The bath spa is from conair. It does not give off heat, just blows lots of bubbles. Of course it will be warm bath water, but the bubbles will blow in a little bit cold so it just mixes. Do you think that is safe also? Anyone else have a home bath spa and use it? Thanks for any help you can give.
Lots of love,
heather

I would think the bath spa is completly safe! Can't see why it would hurt the baby at all.
The bath salts..... Hmm I have no idea. I wouldn't think it would hurt the baby, but........I dunno.

i would like to also think that the bath spa is completly safe! But as for the bath salts they could give you a yeast infection so I would wate and ask the dr on that one.

Thanks a Bunch Girls!!!
I am on keflex now because I have group b strep and a effect of the medicine is a yeast infection so I am made of yogurt right now, lol. The salts would probably help make me have one. I will take them to my doctor and see what she says about them. I go on the 27th to find out if its a boy or girl. Is there a doctor at the ultrasound place that could tell me that or should I just wait for my real Dr. Appt on the 6th. It won't kill me to not have bath salts. What about bubbles. Would that be the same as the salts. Wow I have lots of questions!!!

heather

Yea, they are pretty much the same, anything perfumed in ur water can cause a yeast infection, and ur ultrasound doctor, may not know, they just specialize in u/s's
