Q: Heart Question

For the last two years I've noticed that while at rest, my heart beat has felt unusually prominent in my chest. Though not always, occasionally i can physically feel and count my heart beats while simply reading, watching a movie, trying to sleep, playing video games, and such, as if i've been running or engaged in a heavy exercise. While the beat isn't always rapid, it does seem overly emphasized. It almost feels as if it vibrates all the way through my back into my legs. Once in awhile, i'll feel slight pain and discomfort in my chest, near my heart, as well as the right side. Unfortunately, visiting a health clinic on my work schedule is extremely difficult. Is this anything that needs to be medically addressed?

Have you been monitoring your blood pressure? If so what is it running ? High blood pressure is usually the cause of a person feeling ther heart beat strongly.
